Bits on the port side near the stern of the McGurr tugboat, sunk on Tuesday, September 12, 2000. The tug is 85' long and was built in 1951 in Cohoes, NY and named the Edward Matton. She was also called the Patrick McHugh. The tug was sponsored by Ocean Wreck Divers in memory of Charles J. McGurr, Jr. She lies in 80' of water on the Axel Carlson Reef in New Jersey, USA. This canal tugboat has a pilot house that could be raised or lowered.
